Reading codependent no more and needing more info on communication help. I often find I “don’t say what I mean, don’t mean what I say and don’t know what I mean”

I also feel like it’s difficult for me to get to the point of what I’m trying to say, especially if it’s something between my partner and I that is bothering me or a need I have. It’s like excruciatingly difficult for me to concisely say what I need in those moments. How do you overcome that fear ?
