Am I socializing too much and is it related to codependency?

The last few months I’ve felt almost compelled to seek out a variety of friends and acquaintances to do social things—meals, coffee, walks, sometimes karaoke—often 5-8 times a week. I feel a lift from seeing them, but also it’s like I’m avoiding being at home doing nothing/watching TV with my partner (who tires easily and isn’t very social to begin with). Have any of you had phases where you just socialized constantly for the buzz you get from making and seeing friends?
