Issues with automatic spawning in Hardcore Team Deathmatch after yesterday's update

I play Hardcore Team Deathmatch a lot. After being killed, there's a spawn timer and you are placed into spectator mode. Since the update, whenever the spawn timer ends, instead of spawning, the spawn timer goes away and I'm still in spectator mode. I can shake free by pressing a few buttons randomly and/or moving, but aside from that it doesn't do it automatically like it used to before the update. Anyone else experience this since the update?
