Post Body

I'd love to hear/see input about your solar setups on the fields. Before you downvote and jump to conclusions telling me to do research I simply wanted to hear/see any setups visually on their campsite from previous years. I'm waiting to pull the trigger on the necessary items, but would love input about your specific setups as well. watt panel? watt inverter? amp controller? size battery?

I'm planning to purchase 100 watt panel, 30 amp charge controller, 1000 inverter, 55 amp hour or if i decided to splurge a 100 amp hour deep cycle battery.

I plan to power 40-80 watts during the day for comfort needs. 3 DIY figjam style swamp coolers, cell phone charging, maybe a speaker.

This will be our 3rd year camping and we are hoping to squeeze a few more morning hours of rest by cooling down the sauna of a tent/canopy when the indio sun starts cooking.

Plus this will be a test run for an off-grid supply for burning man :)
