I was at coachella W1 and on Saturday night when everyone was leaving there was all those hotdog stands line up outside VIP entrance (Yellow path). I was unlocking my bike when a security gaurd was screaming at this one street dog cart about his location. As the gentleman (middle-aged, hispanic) was moving his cart back the security gaurd tossed his entire cart all over the ground. The guard continued to shout and scream at him while the gentleman could barely believe what just happened to him. I was just in as much shock.
I got in so much rage that I started yelling back at the gaurd telling him what a fucking asshole he his, what the fuck was his problem and the gaurd kept trying to defend his action but I would just keep cutting him off and telling him to shut up and fuck off. Other people in the crowd saw this too and spoke up about the injustice (thank you to them).
I felt so bad I cried my bike home and just had a therapy session where I cried about how I wished I took more action and helped that man out. I've too have been bullied and know how that feels and just wished I did more. I wish I went and found a supervisor, I wish I recorded it ( i believe someone did) and I wished I could've hug that man and slipped him some money. Not only did he not make any money, he lost his entire earnings and cost of the products because of the assualt he endured.
That's why I am here to try to fix this injustice and to help that man out and find a way to reprimand that gaurd. I have no names but the gaurd was at least 6'4, black man, wearing the blue gaurd shirt, and black pants.
The cart guy was on the yellow path, VIP entrance where the bikes are on the gaurd rail. I believe he's Hispanic about 5"10, 120 pounds, probably late 30's.
If anyone has any info about this, especially the hotdog man please share it. I'd love to say I am sorry and send him some money and love. I feel for him and his family. I didn't do enough and want to be the change I want to see in the world. Love you all.
