Sending in a hail mary for my girl TINASHE to finally be on the lineup this year.
She's attended and guest performed for years including with Ryan Hemsworth in 2015 and Snakehips in 2019 (as the iconic lead vocalist for All My Friends) and Tokimonsta in 2022.
She is a top tier performer with strong vocals, incredible dancing, and a catalogue of BOPS that the desert needs. Her versatility from r&b to pop to electronic is the perfect chella vibe, and as an LA native and avid Coachella goer, I know she would put in the work to give us a special show.
I've been praying to see her on the official lineup since 2013 and have held my breath on lineup day every year since. I think this might finally be the year for her given the success of her last 333 tour (which was presented by Goldenvoice). An independent artist that has dropped 2 flawless albums (Songs For You and 333)
She's had a heavy presence at festivals over the past year (including Lolla and Bonnaroo) and consistently sold out shows in big markets so the demand is there. Let's hope GV agrees!
I would love to see her with a later night set in one of the smaller tents but I could also imagine her having a late afernoon/early evening slot given how criminally underrated she is.
Some songs to check out --
her breakout hit - 2On - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-s7TCuCpB5c
HMU for a Good Time - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2vT9qmBXcE
Bouncin' - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gueFdP9WI4
and a video of her live streamed performance so you can hear the vocals and the sick band she has playing - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKzY5p7BXR0
If there was ever a year to have her on the lineup, this is it. Don't let me down chella gods!!
