Stick and Move vs Tactical for MW2?

I have been using stick and move since beginning of Cold War and all of Vanguard. I like the jump shot tactic and it works well for me. But I used to use tactical back in the day and would be willing to switch if sliding is the meta as it was in Vanguard. You guys sliding is still prominent and I should switch back to tactical? I’ve never been a huge slide canceller but I’d be willing to switch my game if that’s the meta. Wanted to do it near the end of Vanguard from getting camera broken all the time but decided to just stick to my jump shots
