Just a thought, back in the day players who made a living off playing the game were the ones who won events, most weren’t on any serious salary so it made sense to let them pick what they do with the game and what maps get played.

However in 2024, it is completely ridiculous they have this power when all of them are on salary and don’t need to win events to survive. I don’t care for the “people who don’t play shouldn’t get to pick the rules” argument, you’re a professional, fucking figure it out. NBA players don’t get to choose their own rules either. In terms of viewing experience and playing experience in ranked play/Wagers this game is only better than last because there’s no snaking, if snaking was still in it would be 100x worse than MW2 even which was already ass. These pros will play dogshit over having to actually learn something new and it’s time to take their power away.
