Fix for unusually high latency?

First time posting here so delete if I'm breaking any rules.

I just started playing ranked in MW3, this is my first time playing competitive since League Play circa BO2.

I've checked my latency with Speedtests and across other games, and my latency is 2ms. This only happens in MW3.

However, recently I've been getting 96ms once every three or so games.

The thing is, it's always 96ms, so I must be connecting to the same server far away from me.
