Best guns to level up first?

Judge me but my unique stockless vaz build stands it ground in this game beautifully and still love my vaz compared to all the new guns.
With that unnecessary information while it is relevant because I just want to use my vaz but i wanna level up some other guns, what guns should I level up?
I'm an smg main ( these maps are not the most smg friend), so I'm leveling up the striker.
Any other recommendations? Primary or secondary?
Any other tips or thoughts or opinions related to guns?
