Struggling with standing on the accordion on the box

Title Edit: meant the accordion on the SEAT. Reddit won’t let me edit the title.
Been struggling with the exercises in L1.5 where we put 2 heavy spring settings 3 up from the top on the seat, and I stand on the “accordion” part of box. Supposed to tippy toe and let myself get lifted up, but I can barely do this! What am I doing wrong?
