Why buy/bring your own straps?

I noticed that the Club Pilates branded straps that they sell are quite cute. But they’re not cheap and I’ve been wondering, why buy them?
My hands are going to be going over 3 to 5 other pieces of shared equipment (chair, Bosu, springs, mat, etc) in a single class — I figure I’m not really helping hand hygiene by buying and bringing and swapping out my own straps.
Would love to hear from folks who have bought their own set of straps. I figure maybe I’m missing something.
