Canadian Pharmacy Experience (Eliquis)

I have been prescribed Eliquis to reduce stroke risk from Atrial Fibrillation. I don't have prescription drug coverage and the price is over $500/month in USA.
Does anyone have experience with ordering prescription drugs from Canadian pharmacies? The price appears to be 1/3 of the USA price. But I don't know if they are legit and allowed to ship to USA. Any experience is welcomed.
