Can an SSRI mess with D-dimer test results?
Post Body

Hi! I've been having constant shortness of breath for months and apparently my blood platelet count is too high, so I'm getting the D-Dimer test done to rule out a blood clot. My doctor thinks it's anxiety and to be honest it probably is, but I'd rather be sure. I was prescribed Zoloft for the anxiety, so now I'm worried if it might mess with my results if I start taking it now. Is it better to wait?
