PE diagnosed 48hrs ago pain switched sides

I had right sided pain when breathing. Went to ER, ct scan showed bilateral clots. I am exclusively breastfeeding so have declined all pain meds except Tylenol. The Tylenol was managing my pain relatively well on the right side. Obviously not perfect but better than nothing. Starting around 4pm today I started having unmanageable pain on my left side with breathing. Why would the pain switch sides? Should I go back to ER? I am being treated with fragmin and warfarin but Iām only on day 2.
