Help - Strum bar doesn't work while holding down red fret

Hey Guys,
Weird issue that only recently started happening.. every fret key works, the strum bar works, but if i'm holding the red fret down and try to strum, it just doesn't register the strum. This obviously makes any song with red notes impossible.. any advice?
