Failed miserably due to alignment spill

I did everything perfect like maintaining my erection and mixing it fast enough. However my dick points up when erect. So when I went to place it on my dick, a lot of the alignment spilled. Any advice on what to do next time so it doesn’t spill?
Also when I was in it, I pushed blood flow into my dick to make it harder. However in doing so, this made my dick jump up and hit the top side of the cylinder. Any tips?
