So, I want to study abroad very badly. My school offers this amazing exchange program where you can go to vienna and knock out 3 of the 4 required advanced biology classes to graduate. The thing is, the abroad program has relatively broad class offerings, e.g. human molecular genetics, molecular biology, microbial genetics, etc. My home university, however, offers many specialized courses on cancer genetics and reproductive diseases.
Would schools value more the experience of studying abroad or taking more specialized biology courses?
