I let someone borrow my early 90’s ford ranger. They used it to transport an outside dog in the cab. Now there is a smell
I like cleaning or disinfecting with rubbing alcohol because they generally works well, and the smell goes away pretty quickly.
So like I asked: will wiping down the seats with a rag soaked in rubbing alcohol damage the seats. Obviously I don’t want to damage the seats since they are original.
P.s. I don’t know if vinyl is the right word for the material the seats are made of, but it’s the way I’ve always heard it described. It’s the basic plastic-like material that came in base models.

I may try that. I’m considering trying peroxide also, since I have it at the house already. Though I have no idea if that’s safe on vinyl or not either
