Greetings all,
Recently my ex and I split, and with it she left behind a whole bunch of mess. There wasn't a spot where you could find carpet, food was left out, the animals ran amuck, and the whole place was chaos. Now, I can't say that I didn't contribute to the madness, but I wasn't getting any help and I gave up.
Now, I have the house back in a livable condition, but I have some things I am having issues with to make it what I can qualify as clean: 1. Bugs. Bugs everywhere. Flies all over the place, and I've tried fly traps and that gets some but attracts more even after a day or two. I also have an overabundance of those orange ladybug-like bugs all over. I need some recommendations to get rid of all of this. 2. Walls. When we were together, we had a knee-high dog who constantly jumped on the walls, coupled with copious amounts of garbage everywhere, there are spots that are either stained or dirty and I don't wanna ruin anything. The house, before I bought it last year, was all done DIY, so I have no idea how or with what it was painted. 3. Windows. Due to the bug issues, the bugs seemed to collect at windows, and because of this, there's a bunch of what I assume is poop or something on the windows, sill, frame, etc. I am currently trying Dawn water in a spray bottle, and it seems to work, but there are parts and places my fat fingers can't reach. Does anyone have a better method? BONUS. Carpet. My living room carpet is awful. It has these dark spots everywhere, and I have no idea how to get rid of them. I am under the assumption that it is FUBAR, but I wanted to ask if theres any hope to save it.
I appreciate everyone who is willing to help, thank you!!
