I'm (19f) in university and I'm going to be performing a concerto in the spring time (March) and I'm having a bit of a difficult time finding what I'm looking for in terms of what to wear.

I am supposed to dress in an evening gown, and I'm having trouble finding dresses that don't look too prom-ish or bridesmaid-ey, if that makes sense.

Does anyone know of any brands/stores/websites where I can find an appropriate performance dress? I want something elegant and professional that I could wear for performances in the future, too.

I have looked at online stores, but most of what I'm finding are from fake scam websites, and it's impossible for me to find the original sites :(

I'm not entirely sure this would be the right place to ask, but I figured I'd give it a try. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
