I'm looking for a specific episode of All in the Family. It has a very powerful scene, which I would argue was probably one of the most powerful scenes in all of television history.
Archie and Edith are sitting in the living room. And he starts recounting his father and the Great Depression saying something along the lines of "all his life he worked hard and he just couldn't understand it. His entire life he couldn't understand what happened and why (he failed.)"
Does anyone know what I'm talking about. I already ran through the episodes "The Unemployment Story" and "The Inflation" and I couldnt find it. Thanks.
