I like to buy pretty editions of classics that I know Iāll keep on my shelves or re-read. If anyone has any suggestions for the upcoming classics, especially if you already own them and can share any details about the edition, please let me know!
These are what Iām debating so far for both:
Wuthering Heights - - Wordsworth Collectorās Edition. I have a different book in this collection and find them cute if not a little simple. - The Marjolein Bastin illustrated edition. I think this is gorgeous but to me it doesnāt really reflect the mood of this novel if that makes sense. Itās illustrations of pretty flowers, like all of the other books in this series, so Iām not sure.
Dracula - - The seasons edition with the laser-cut jacket. I have another book in this collection and think itās beautiful! But again itās just the cover thatās unique. - The āgreat horror and fantasy collection boxed setā kind of just looks cool as a set and I donāt own any of the other books in it. - āThe New Annotated Draculaā with Leslie S. Klinger as editor. This is massive. It seems very informative with a lot of background, but is it a lot of filler content? I donāt always buy annotated editions but it could be interesting.
