I've been playing the trophy road trying to get to 5500 so that I can unlock a couple champions and then never play it again. However, I can consistently get to about 5480 /- 15 trophies but never actually get into the next arena. Everytime I'm 1 win away, I'll get matched up against a max level "mid ladder" deck of mk , ebarbs, wizard, witch, etc. Then proceed to only get those matches until I'm back to around 5300 trophies where the process will repeat itself. I have 2 lvl 14 cards. The rest are 10,11 & 12. Without fail it will happen ever time.
It's obviously an attempt to force people to spend real money on the game which I absolutely refuse to do (or at least until match making is fixed)
I've also noticed that if my chest it's are full, I'll get substantially more difficult match ups vs if I have a couple empty slots.
Anyone else dealing with this garbage?
Ya, it seems like the game gets 200% harder when you’re near the end of an arena. I just spent all night and all morning trying to reach 7k trophies and now that I finally passed the threshold I’m winning all my matches
