From what we can see so far, the tourney are gems incentive, filled with fake tournies, multiple ppl join over n over, ppl can use sub acc, one stream only at a time, streamer create wrong tourny pax.
For those who earnestly want to get this exclusive emote, propose Supercell to make few more discord emote tournies so everyone who wanted the emote can get it. Also, put it on announcement in CR.
Some games do that too, with the objective of ensuring players who are with them on their anniversary get those exclusive freebies and thus this is nothing new.
