Hello everyone, i thought i would share some of my thoughts on the 2v2 challenges going on this month. I've noticed a trend in my clan and in my own gameplay and was wondering why it was happening, and i believe i found the answer.
The 2v2 challenges going on this month have a few people (myself included) very frustrated because you get matched with a random person. This can be quite difficult since your deck synergy can be terrible together. However, i actually believe that draft 2v2 challenges solve this problem.
The struggle that the majority of players have in clash royale is building solid decks. Many players even at the 4000 trophy range still do not have a solid grasp on the fundamentals of deck building. This is why many players use popular meta decks and just go with that until a new meta arises, and that is perfectly ok. If you strength is in your gameplay, then there is no problem just using other peoples decks. But this can become a problem in 2v2.
Many people don't modify their decks for a 2v2 setting and sometimes good 1v1 decks are not as good in 2v2. Draft completely gets rid of this problem because it forces players to build a deck on the fly. This is both good and bad, many players do not understand how to properly draft but i feel that in 2v2 which is mode chaotic you can afford a few card choice mistakes. Not only is 2v2 more chaotic but you can see your teammate draft cards as you go along, so if you wait for them to draft all of their cards you can draft yours to have good synergy with your teammate and also with that cards he gave to the opponents.
This small detail makes 2v2 draft challenges much easier and you will be more likely to get 9 wins and get that SWEET SWEET legendary chest if you are decent at normal 1v1 draft.
Please see my other guide to drafting with some 2v2 tips as well. It will help you, i guarantee it.
