For background, I am 22y/o and played the tube from ages 11-18, but haven’t touched an instrument since then. I did the typical middle school wind ensemble to high school marching band pipeline, so by the time I got to college, I was kind of over playing music (since I had been at it for like 7 years).
I started to miss playing when I was in college but never really had time (or money) to pick it back up. I also never owned a tuba of my own - just borrowed from the school - so I had no way of really playing again unless I joined another group.
Anyways, I digress. I want to start playing music again and have been really interested in the clarinet recently. Wondering if anyone has suggestions re: moving to this from my background in tuba. Or just general tips/ good starter clarinets…
Thanks!!
