I don't quite understand why there is all this angst for poortea when other users are using illegal mods. This server is already very relaxed when it comes to mods from what I can tell.
People should be more disturbed by cheating than they are with raiding in a PVP server -.-
As a newcomer here, I have found the prisonpearl system absolutely fascinating and awesome. I love watching the action so far. I'm not experienced in PVP but I gotta say that it keeps things interesting here.
Does anyone else play clash of kings? The emotional rollercoaster of building an powerful alliance, making allies, fighting with your allies and being totally wiped by your enemies is soooo awesome. What ruins it is when the ones wiping you have cheated with bots and purchased illegal resources and edited their attack bonuses.
Killing and being killed is part of the game, taking the resources from those you kill is part of the game. I accept and embrace these aspects of PVP. When people cheat, good experienced competitors who won't cheat end up leaving the server.
My alliance is a beast right now (Snakes on Holiday, Kingdom 560). It took months of politics to get the RIGHT family alliances with a select FEW alliances. When little alliances message me asking to tell the koreans or the turks to stop attacking them, I tell them no. It took TONS of work to get them to 1- not attack us and 2- back us. I make a legit effort not to cry wolf so when we really need help, we get it. Our ONLY enemy in the server right now are the Chinese. They've been cheating from day one. Despite numerous screen shots and help tickets to tech support there have been no bans as they struggle to keep up with the hackers. It is beyond distressing to watch a castle get fed resources via bots illegally, knowing they are going to use those resources to upgrade and kill us again. A lot of the strongest players left the server because of this and the tech supports minimal response.
Cheating is far more damaging than a raiding.
