Attention merchants of CivEx! The good folk of Khoreau have been kind enough to grant me their island, as seen here. This is something of a preliminary announcement post, but I intend to construct a free city here for the purpose of serving as a secure, neutral location for international trade.

The island's location offers access to the active western forest region of the main continent, the island nations of the west and south, and following the completion of Coastaro's bridge relatively easy access to the active southern region of the main continent as well.

While the immediate concern is to develop the city as a relatively centralized area to serve as an international marketplace, the long term plan is to place the city as the main thoroughfare through which most server trade take places through superior supply, inventory, and delivery systems. As such, I am seeking assistance from merchants across the server who are actively involved in trade and can offer suggestions and insight about server trade to help develop these systems.

For merchants and general people interested in posting goods in the marketplace, the city is still in the planning stages and nothing as of yet exists on the ground. A functional and secure marketplace has priority for construction and will be made available as soon as possible.
