Leaving the server
Post Body

When I first discovered this server 5 1/2 months ago I was blown away, this had been the experience I had always wanted. A true nation building server that wasn't weighed down by too much RP, and also a server that's nations were not just a name so you could go out to raid and Coolpvp other people.

I saw the wondrous city of Sky Utopia and New Riviera. I met plenty of amazing people along the way and plenty of those people I would consider my friends.

After 3 weeks I finally found a place to settle down. Kuren was amazing the people were active and friendly, and the style was unique. I learned how to brew and I was tasked with finding the recipe for sake. For me this was the peak of the server. I was on every day for longer hours than seemed healthy. Then WWII happened and every single one of my friends left and the server died down. Though sad I still pressed on and found new friends and new adventures. I essentially made turned Komarni from a tiny city state with little relevancy into a Mega Nation. I felt like my actions had an impact on the world around me and that was the second highest point this server has been for me.

Now in 2.0 I feel like all that magic that I felt when I played here is gone. So I announce that I will be leaving for the time being. I may come back, though if I don't, I will always remember CivilEx and its community. I cannot say that this hasn't made an impact in my life, In fact after this I don't think I will ever be able to look at a bottle of Sake without breaking down. Goodbye CivilEx.
