FK8 AWE Touring Exhaust

Got a question for anyone with the AWE touring exhaust. When I cold start and after cleaning the tips/driving, I noticed that the exhaust mostly come out through the middle exhaust tip.
When I put my hand up to the exhaust, I don’t feel anything coming out of the other two.
Is this an issue? Or do the other two only get used while in R mode?
