As of tonight, Gears610's new Constitution has been ratified with a 16-5 (76%) margin vote of the needed 2/3 in the legislative body. The constitution is officially ratified!

Congratulations to all Orionites tonight! Let's celebrate!

Tomorrow issues in a new age in Orion. I am sure this new government will prove well for the city. Let us all ponder who we think should be best for the job whilst the nomination post will be made tomorrow for all those interested in running for one the three Executive Council positions.

Good luck to all, and I encourage anyone who feels they have the activity level and dedication to be one of our leaders to nominate themselves as a candidate.

I would also beseech you to re-scan (or finally read) the new version of the constitution, because it is now the supreme law over Orion. All laws previously made and not specified in the constitution are still valid. There is no official Supreme Court Justice at this moment, and this person shall be decided once the three Executive Councilors are voted in and nominate their appointee to be voted on.

Remember, "Good government only happens when the people working in it do their jobs, and do them well."
