After chasing down spamdawg today (a griefer who has killed many) and finding MysticSnoopy to lock me out of his house while giving SpamDawg food and protection, I propose that we create a law that allows us to view people who actively assist griefers, criminals, and overall fugitives as criminals themselves and depending on the severity of the case we decide their end sentence.
It is absurd to me that people can actively (like protecting them from getting pearled) harbor griefers and not be expected to face the consequences.
This obviously needs debating but I wish to see a law instated that allows people to pearl and convict people who
Actively aid a fugitive by assisting them with food or supplies
Actively embed and or protect a fugitive who is being actively chased or pursued by a trusted individual (to be deemed per trial by judge).
Actively and aggressively impede the effectiveness of said trusted individuals in their hunt for a fugitive.
Passively (not in the heat of the moment) and knowingly give PvP/Raiding supplies to suspected or known criminals or fugitives
I assumed these kinds of things were common sense in law but apparently I was told that this was to the contrary. Codifying this law will allow criminal apprehenders some ability to punish those who allow griefers and fugitives to continue on. This bill obviously needs discussion, but I think this is an essential part of any pearling laws.
Next time I sincerely hope I'm not the criminal when I kill someone who is aiding a criminal.
