New Detroit has officially declared its status as a founding member of the United Earth Directorate.

New Detroit is an industrial city along the Sanzu River and bordering the Poco Loco Desert to its North. New Detroit is famous for its underwater Phantasm District, intelligent industrious population, and its rustic architecture.

New Detroit is small city broken up into several areas focused on many different things. New Detroit is notable for it's "easy going" populace, that is to say "easy come easy go" as New Detroit likely holds the largest ratio of current citizens to citizens who left to found their own towns.

Due to New Detroit's location, it has the capacity to mass manufacture many products, including wheat, potatoes, sugarcane, sand, cactus, almost all types of wood, and much more.

New Detroit is captalistic Liberal Autocracy. It has never held a meaningful election, but its government epitomizes constitutional liberalism, protecting its citizens' basic rights and administering a fair court system and bureaucracy. The government is in absolute firm control in the hands of the technological and economic visionary that is our leader. Many people may associate our form of government with evil, but I disagree. If you want to see the fate of democracies, look out the windows.

New Detroit's name is derived from the french word détroit, meaning narrow straight of water, referring to the nearby Sanzu River. The Sanzu river is the source of New Detroit's water supply, sugar cane, and ultimately the city's life force.

While there is no official religion, the most popular in the city is Carlitaoism, a religion based on going with the flow. (Much like the Sanzu river) Where every man is free to follow his own path and do his own thing. Where every man is a sovereign. In essence this is also what the city is all about.
