Goodsprings is now officially one of the founding member of the UED.

This post is a quick intro and hello from Goodsprings!

Here we go:

Intro:

Goodsprings is a desert town south of Mt Augusta, with beautiful desert themed buildings, stunning views and friendly people.

Location:

Our coords are x2190, z2667. Deep in the southern desert, with mountains nearby.

Town size:

A small, but fast expanding desert town. Population of around 12, not many are very active. We have around 4-5 members who are more active.

Age:

Was once owned and abandoned long ago. I rekindled the town 3weeks ago and still working hard.

Main exports/imports:

We make and sell a lot of cactus and acacia wood. We also have cows, wheat, clay.

We are always in need of flowers, usually yellow. For stained clay blocks. Lapis lazuli is a big problem we have right now too. Looking to buy from anyone.

Government structure:

An elected council, with a head leader, the supreme councillor. The council controls most aspects of the town, but everyone is encouraged to help out. Respect and hard work are rewarded.

We run on the idea of "you invest in the town and the town invests in you."

We value the protection of the desert, respect, team effort and community.

Culture:

Goodsprings derives its name from the Tree of Life. A sacred tree from which water flows, creating a spring. This water gives life to the desert and allows us to live and prosper in the harsh land.

We protect the Tree of Life, the Good Spring and all her desert. We honor the desert by staying as desert themed as possible.

Cactus is worshipped almost as much as the Tree.(mostly by me) Cacti donations are a good way to show your friendliness.

Sandmining: the mass quarrying of sand for nothing more than monetary gain is criminal offence. To ruin the desert in this way is highly disrespectful to our people and the Tree

Current Major Projects:

We have two; The Goodsprings Colosseum. A fighting arena for international competitions and general tourism. Any member of the UED may join the fighting league once we have completed the stadium.

The hourglass Station. A rail from MA to GS. The station will also be the center of the Goodsprings monorail system and have possible future plans for a rail between GS, ND and Vind.
