Some friends and I started building a small private community in the wilderness in the near -,- quadrant. We were going to link up to the Nether Road Network and let everyone know about us this weekend, so here are our coordinates anyway ~ -1900,-2600. Nearest portal is -2096,-2616. I have now set up a perfectly aligned portal in the Nether @y67, and tunnelled out from it in each cardinal direction to the first road (may be 'abandoned' roads).

Please feel free to come join us (probably just me now) out here. We're a bit short on animals and food materials at the moment, but there's plenty of space to get farms going again.

Anyway, apparently yesterday while we were offline someone managed to stumble across where we were and decided to steal what they could. A few chests were broken into, and we lost what little diamond and iron we had only just managed to find that day.

I hadn't had a chance to set up a proper snitch block. So I went and managed to find a little more diamond and got one set up for today. Good thing too. It looks like they decided to come back and set fire to everything, and bust into a few chests that they hadn't previously.

Unfortunately I didn't get to recover enough diamond to enclose it in DRO so it does not appear to be a complete log. Still, we can clearly see "DerTauman" having been through the area. Plus, the visitors were kind enough to leave signs everywhere proclaiming [So Solid Crew ; 2k12 ; FTM].

I also strongly suspect, but unfortunately don't have concrete proof, that whoever came in was using some form of x-ray. I found a hole in our outer wall that led to a tunnel that I blocked up the ends of with dirt. The tunnel had a 90 degree turn in it that I also covered up with dirt a few blocks deep, but I left the torches in there in case I wanted to use it again. The dirt blocks used to block up the tunnel were perfectly, and I mean perfectly, removed. There were no other blocks removed around them to indicate someone searching for the tunnel direction.

Unfortunately there was a fair bit of property damage since we hadn't quite gotten up to reinforcing literally everything yet.

Stolen items (off the top of my head): 20 diamond, 200 iron ingots, 20 lazuli blocks, 30 gold ingots, 60 of each sapling

Damage: All Cows/Sheep/Pigs killed, All 240 Wheat/Seeds destroyed, All pumpkins&stems destroyed, All melons&stems destroyed, 20 bookshelves destroyed, Large spruce tree farm destroyed by fire, small birch tree farm destroyed by fire, Several hundred blocks of jungle wood planks (outer wall) destroyed

I would like DerTauman and any associates (So Solid Crew?) pearled, until we receive compensation in the form of replacements of all stolen/destroyed materials; or if they can't do that then until I've restored/secured the area and had enough time to re-gather all the materials for myself.

Obviously with so much stolen I don't have a lot on me. Price is negotiable, I'm happy to do mining/crafting/building work for you if you can pearl them, since I'll be saved the grief of having them come by when I'm offline.

Edit/Update: DerTauman was on and in chat range of my area, asked me how my bounty was going.

Proper snitch log showing DerTauman and XavierTheGreat ripping up reinforced blocks. An interesting part to it is that DerTauman only pulled up the wood blocks that led directly to the DRO encased snitch. There were no air pockets around it and it was completely obscured, which further raises my suspicion that they are using some x-ray style mod to reveal special blocks around them.

Oh, the SS also shows more vandalism in the form of dumping lava all over the place. This happened about 2 hours ago from the time of this post.

They didn't come in through the portal I noted earlier. I have an idea of an underground path they may have used that appears to have been tunneled out of to get to where we are. It's over at the west wall, near the nearly-burned-to-nothing house.

Any help would be appreciated. Also, if anyone would like to take in a refugee for a bit, I would appreciate having an area to get back on my feet (I logged in inside lava and lost everything I had on me, most of my stores have been destroyed).

We got some assistance and DerTauman was pearled. I'd like to release him immediately if we can have the stolen Diamonds, Iron, and Gold repaid. I'm not really concerned with the loss of the stacks and stacks of string, fences, saplings, wheat, seeds, melons, pumpkins, sand, coal, lazuli, and redstone. Or the destruction of the tree farms, or culling of all of our animals, or the destruction of a few hundred blocks of outer wall, or the destruction of those few parts of the area that weren't fortified (seriously, the entire place must have been set fire to).

However apparently there's a group of 5, though DerTauman admits that he found/scouted the place and brought the others in. He claims he can only repay his 'share', but he can't say where any of the others will have stashed what they looted.

It is late and I can't come up with something solid on what to do since he can't repay and can't point us in the direction of the rest of what was stolen. I'll have to come back to it.
