Hi all, I have been thinking about raising this topic here for a while but I have avoided it. Recent road damage has made me think about raising this hot topic.

Lets start with recent events. Recently (over the last 2 weeks) I have been walking the roads looking for damage to repair. Some of the recent damage I have found is the result of people placing snitch blocks. Now regardless of the second part of this post, if you take down the wall or roof of the road to place a snitch put it back as it was! If you don't you snitch will be found easily. Also by not replacing the road as you found it your are griefing the roads. If I find any more snitch blocks near damage in the roads, then I will remove them myself.

(I am of course assume these are new snitches and not somebody using xray and then damaging the roads to try to remove the snitches)

The second point, and the hotly debated one is who places snitch blocks are where. Many people PM me in game to ask me about X snitch near Y portal. Now I do not have any snitch blocks myself in the nether (this will change when I build the new nether hub). I also like that some key players do have snitches in the nether as it helps to catch griefers. BUT, if you are going to place snitches by somebody else nether portal I think you should ask permission first, it is only polite.
