What the fuck?

So today I went to go shopping at the outlet mall like anybody would on their three-day weekend (memorial day sales, hell yeah!) and I come back online to some interesting news.

First, I get a message on reddit from someone talking about how my "base" was destroyed and they want to speak with me. I had previously logged out very far away from Mt. Augusta (I wonder why?) and thought nothing of it.

When I log back in, RonPaul_2012 is talking to me, messaging me, talking about "what happened to my house" claiming there was lava everywhere and it was cleared out, while continuously asking if I will return to Augusta. I obviously say I won't, and later he finally admits that he was totally okay with what happened and was trying to lure me to Augusta to kill me.

Eventually I run to Augusta and my own house. It's totally wiped out. Iron obsidian hacked away at to hit a snitch block, every chest (a total of 6, each iron-reinforced) destroyed and their contents taken, brewing stands, beds, everything removed, and some random obsidian placed around the house.

Whose names do I see on the snitch block? The people in the title of this post. I later talked with Ron, who said that he logged on when the attackers (if you will) were still online and finished with the attack, and said that what they did was okay.

The point of this post is to ask a simple question: Why? Your actions are worse than mine. This was not simple looting, but rather full-out destruction. You gained very little material wealth (5d, 10 iron blocks, assorted tools with some enchants, a stockpile of potions and ingredients, a jukebox, and other small items) which Ron called "spoils of war" from this attack. You have destroyed part of Mt. Augusta that I actually put effort in to fixing and making look nice. In fighting these so-called "griefers," I believe you have become them.
