Over the past week or so people have been complaining about everything from ores to mobs. I personally am fine with the way the game is but I think the general consciousness is that tweeks have to be made for the game to get better.
The mods have been very supportive of this as well, and I thank them for their hard work and dedication to keeping this server up and running and fixing all the bugs now. As a result of their hard work we now have a playable server.
That being said, mobs are a serious issue in spawn shards. I currently live in a decently populated city in Elion that serves as a hub for new players interested in the game. It's very annoying to have constant zombies, spiders, creepers, and skeletals everywhere you turn in your city attacking you.
It's not very spawn friendly and I think that by turning off hostile mobs in these shards the server would greatly benefit and non-spawn shards would hold even greater importance for mob drops.
Even a tweek to turn down the mobs even more would be great. It's just hard to have to constantly stop what you are doing to kill a mob.
