Haven't made one of those in a few days, I guess it was time again.
Changes since last changelog:
Began to rework the FM config to remove the parts where people pushed their own agenda through without me noticing (hey teal). Lots of stuff is completly reworked or a lot more expensive
Fixed factory creation, everything should be working again and you should not be able to create a factory if any additional materials are in the chest.
Updated WorldInfos JourneyMap support, JourneyMap should now automatically give every shard it's own map
Tons of PrisonPearl fixes
Fixed FactoryMods menu, all functions should now work and open properly
Fixed Citadel to prevent spawning of mobs from reinforced structures (e.g. snowmen from reinforced snow)
Improved way reinforced materials are dropped if you are ctbing and your inventory is full, they should no longer randomly bounce away
Small behind the scenes changes for BetterShards, this shouldnt affect anything yet
Started to fix NameLayers merging process, still not done yet
Reinforcement maturation was turned on, values are 1 day for diamond, 6 hours for iron, 30 minutes for stone. Acid time is 2 days for diamond, 12 hours for iron, 60 minutes for stone
Added reinforcement decay. If noone with block permissions (per default mod or higher) in a group has been online for a certain amount of time, any reinforcements on the group will get easier to break. This is using a configured value X and if noone has been online for X days, the reinforcements will break twice as fast, after 2X days they will break 4 times as fast etc.. For testing this value is set to 7 days currently, in 3.0 it will probably be like 3 months.
You can now set your spawn with beds at any time, just rightclicking the bed will set your spawn.
Testing is needed for:
PrisonPearl and all of it's features, especially across shards
Factory creation, repair etc. We are still working on making a decent config in the new format, the current config can be found here. Any pull requests to help improve it would be appreciated a lot, it's a giant task. No pipes and sorters right now, but they will be added.
Cross shard spawning. Ensure that randomspawn works properly and that beds respawn you across shards, but will stop doing that when you break them or sleep in a new one.
Feedback is needed on:
Factory recipes. A lot of those are still place holder, feedback on how those should look like or how long they should take would be appreciated.
Mob spawning. All mob spawning is now being handled by EE, which gives us a lot more control. Before we go into more complicated stuff, we want to replicate a nice peaceful/vanilla feeling and find out which values we need for that. So thoughts on the current spawning amounts would be nice.
Known bugs:
- You will sometimes randomly be thrown in another shard at the same coordinates
- Your reinforcement mode resets when crossing shards
- When logging in for the first time a CombatLogger is spawned at 0,0 on Aleph
- The shard you get forwarded to can be influenced by the proxy you connect to
- EE mobs don't persist properly across restarts, which leads to inconsistent drops

There are design problems in NameLayer, that make merging and subgroups not work nicely. Fixing that will probably require bigger changes.
Rourke rewrote NameLayers permission system a while ago, this will allow other plugins to register their own NameLayer permissions, so reinforcing, creating snitches, renaming snitches, bastion access etc. can be split out into separate permissions. Still holding onto merging this until we have all the other NameLayer issues out of the way
We should probably add a fallback lobby server instead of just throwing you somewhere into Aleph when your shard goes down
We started to keep track of stuff to do post 3.0 release, so "another thing for the list" is not just a saying. Here is the current list. Gotta be sure to never run out of tasks
Mumble, forum etc. should now be working fine again after yesterdays downtime
Any bug reports or thoughts on the current balance situation are very welcome in this thread.
