You maybe noticing all of the reaction posts about the new plugins made by people who are overacting to stated features of said plugins with out realizing they can be configured and toned down by editing a text file. All of this before any of it has even been play tested on civtemp. How are the devs (or the players for that matter) supposed to know the final configurations until we test it.

Players are not mathematical models. they are cleaver they will use plugins in a way that the dev team has not imagined yet. That is why we need civtemp for testing and why we are not just going to launch 3.0 as soon as the plugins are stable.

To the many people not complaining remember. The vocal minority on this sub is very loud and the great majority of us are content with waiting for civtemp for testing, or don't care.

So if you are worried about the sever dying, remember there was a time when the entire sever basically could not login for fear of being pearled for several months and the sever survived just fine. This game is like crack once you start playing you cant give it up. Neither can the people doing the majority of the nagging as they are almost all heavily invested in the server. if they quit they will come back because this is the only server that really does the whole politics theme correctly.
