I thought I had it but apparently Roruke has some voodoo you need to do with playerdata to prevent every player from respawning after putting the main server behind bungee.

Because of that I have to roll back everyones player data to this morning, nothing else should see any changes, also I am loading the alts db from this morning because I forgot to turn ip forwarding on and it caused everyone to come out of 127.0.0.1 with obvious results for alt banned people.

Should only be about 15 minutes on the map restore.

Sorry for the trouble everyone, this is what I get for trying to do this during my layover, we know we can't delay this event much longer but everyone is super booked with a thousand things, we might just have to push back our entire time schedule but that would have implications all the way through January with the rest of what we have planned.

edit: Since it seems inconsistency is worse than lost effort I will just roll back the entire server to this morning, every sorry about this everyone, I was doing some pretty safe changes so I didn't back up, but I decided to move into slightly more expansive ones and I forgot about the offline/online implications of bungee.

edit2: looks like the primary backup sets have once again run into FTP's file indexing limits, the backups are still there but they are not being indexed properly and we will have to go spelunking for them, rather than do that I will be using the secondary backup server (the backup backup server if you will) its slower, so this will take longer but it should be a straight shot.

edit3: Secondary backup server is slow, this might take an hour or two.

edit4: Secondary backup server is really slow, now that I think about it the best course of action would have been to do the restore over there and then rsync the results over, but you live and learn.

edit5: Its done, restoring the mysql dump from this morning now, all that's left after that is to hit go.
