Why are alt accounts allowed on Civcraft but name changing is not?
It is essentially the same thing. Many people do not buy their alts and use it to do things that wont be attached to their name. People also use alt accounts to raid as well so the argument that name change allows people to raid and take on a new persona is null.
Why is a game based off creating relationships with people do we allow alts that can do things completely opposite of what is attached to the main person behind it?
These questions are not meant to shed a bad light on alts but rather question if they are essential to this game or not. I have a alt myself, but I feel as if alts take away from the personal aspect of the game when you can go out and buy essentially a new person for your advantage and another individuals disadvantage.
Many people use alt accounts for good, like keeping a account in a city you want to protect-but if this is an experiment why do we allow this? In my personal opinion you should not be able to hop on a alt account and destroy a city but be allowed to still play on another account that has a good reputation. That just seems unfair.
EDIT: great to see the DV brigade from that spam.
