Previously, I advocated that under a Civcraft UN, there could possibly be a common security provisions agreed upon internationally. The project to establish the UN, however, has run into difficulties, and while I firmly believe Civcraft could benefit from greater global integration, I'm beginning to think that a non-partisan security force is quite a way off, and for now, we will face Eden/Libertas power struggles, only working for the figures at the top and not for the benefit of everyone.
So here's what I propose: disband all security alliances and organisations, and reform them as necessary on an ad hoc basis when individual states are no longer able to cope with criminals or an invasion. This could possibly be accomplished with a charter
It'll mean people will spend less time fiddling with security and more time doing stuff. Like building. Or farming. You know, the constructive parts of the game, which don't involve PvP.
