New Today On Civcraft
- Updated Burricos to fix dupe glitch, please report on if this works and general experiences with Burricos as well
New Today on Civtest
- Still exploded, probably should have asked Roruke to do some local testing before putting our testing server out of commission, might have to spin up another testing environment, we kinda need Civtest.
Bugs And Development Focus
I need to set this up when time allows, Jawa told me how
Can I just comment stuff out of the Factorymod config? at this point I am just going to go and do it myself, burricos has waited too long and most of the other fixes in there have as well.
After seeing how the bowbuff worked in testing its seems that we need to modify the buff so that it's buff scales down as you make your way from power5 all the way down to the lowest level some suggested scaling values are here. Contrary to that, people were saying it was fine. As always feedback is asked for and welcome to receive.
No, Citadel 3.0 is not running on CivCraft. It is just nearing feature completion and Zork750 is looking for feedback.
There's some strange particle interaction between reinforced pistons and reinforced melon stems. The pistons stop working.
ttk2's thinking corner
I think Ribagi made a pull for Groovies modified NetherFactory ingredients list, since its not really labeled well I will have to wait for him to tell us.
I got some feedback that the updated MusterCull config did not help and seems to have reduced culling of Pigman and other spawner mobs. Does anyone care to comment on that? What modifications should we focus on with Mustercull?
There where good points made about the upkeep costs of NetherFactories, how easily can we change them to somthing arbitrary or at least somthing expensive enough to not be trivial, the problem also ties into how easy they are to destroy (which I am not sure was tested, people are going to be pissed if they are as easy to mess up as normal factories). In short we want NetherFactories to be moderately hard to destroy (with investment in a vault around them they should be pretty safe) but expensive enough to maintain that abandoned cities can't afford to keep theirs up on a whim.
Fedora 21 tomorrow, probably going to hold off on the update though, at least until Bumblebee has an updated repo.
Good luck on your finals everyone!
