  • Can I just comment stuff out of the Factorymod config? at this point I am just going to go and do it myself, burricos has waited too long and most of the other fixes in there have as well.

  • After seeing how the bowbuff worked in testing its seems that we need to modify the buff so that it's buff scales down as you make your way from power5 all the way down to the lowest level some suggested scaling values are here. Contrary to that, people were saying it was fine. As always feedback is asked for and welcome to receive.

  • Jawa and the testing team are currently looking for a good way to assign testers tasks, a few ideas have been discussed, a mailing list is possible but because of the prevalence of real name emails it would probably have to be one way, a more creative suggestions has been to use Subreddits modmail to get messages to most people, that's an interesting idea but I think it still fails upon assigning the tasks to an individual who can complete it, otherwise we keep getting the bystander effect.

  • After all the discussion that has been coming up with NetherFactories and endstone balance the administration has decided to get some more info, I am currently making a copy of the Civcraft map and I will use the scanning script to dump everyone's inventory and chest contents, then I can figure out what the actual distribution of endstone is. Hopefully it will help inform my decision.

  • I really need some input on how I can mess with the factorymod config, can I just comment out lines without worrying about anything? Burricos deserves to go online at this point and we have other fixes sitting in limbo because I can't figure out how to mess with the config to remove the NetherFactory stuff for the time being.

  • Looking at yesterdays timings it seems the primary issues are that the number of domestic mobs is uncontrolled and a percolator is at play, we have known from the start of this update that MobSpawning is dramatically different, MusterCull has been working harder to less effect for a couple of months now since the update, we need to get that fixed so that it not only lowers the load MusterCull puts on the server but also actually does an effective job at limiting the server mob population. Next up percolators are a little harder simply blocking or clearing large water flows is almost unfeasible, but we might have to go that direction. We need good ideas on that front.
