Post Body

New Today On Civcraft

  • No Changes to Civcraft for today.

New Today on Civtest

  • Updated Burricos with some more bug fixes, it should be pretty close to going online without fear of crash induced drama.

  • Updated Humbug, properly scaled bow buff is now online, please test it out.

Bugs And Development Focus

  • Since we are at this point running our own Spigot, we should probably patch in somthing to make tile entity ticks more efficient since that seems to be most of the lag right now, I know Pruby had a proposal and even code for that which he submitted upstream, but I think somthing perhaps less dramatic got in.

  • I also still require feedback on Wither spawning on Civcraft itself since I modified the setting a few days ago, are things back to the pre 1.7.10 norm or not?

  • After seeing how the bowbuff worked in testing its seems that we need to modify the buff so that it's buff scales down as you make your way from power5 all the way down to the lowest level some suggested scaling values are here.

  • In response to the buffing of bows projectile prot also needs to be buffed significantly, enough to be useful in a combat situation with archers as a major issue. This should hopefully help to diversify away from a single best configuration.

  • latest developer log

  • Civdisease!!!!!!

ttk2's thinking corner

  • I still need feedback on a bunch of stuff, maybe I should make a feedback section in the changelog, directional levers and the bow modifications on Civtest are two of the major things at the moment.

  • Rouke has initialized the Civdisease plugin repo here hopefully we can actually make some development progress soon.

  • Now I need to figure out how to code in assembly on a Raspberry pi, on the downside it seems the LED's in my keyboard exceed its power budget causing an instant reboot when I plug it in. This could take some doing.
