New Today On Civcraft
- JukeAlert with lever control support is now online and lever control is enabled as of today, please report any issues you have right away and feel free to share your experiences.
New Today on Civtest
Updated Humbug, properly scaled bow buff is now online, please test it out.
I placed a new Burricos chest spawning command block near Civtest spawn, please us it to generate the chests you need to test burricos.
Updated Burricos, this new version should be significantly more resilient to server crashes in addition to being less reliant on Humbug, I would greatly appreciate it if people headed over there to test.
Bugs And Development Focus
After seeing how the bowbuff worked in testing its seems that we need to modify the buff so that it's buff scales down as you make your way from power5 all the way down to the lowest level some suggested scaling values are here.
In response to the buffing of bows projectile prot also needs to be buffed significantly, enough to be useful in a combat situation with archers as a major issue. This should hopefully help to diversify away from a single best configuration.
ttk2's thinking corner
The scaled bow buff is now on Civtest, I am looking forward to feedback on how that works and some info one what we may need to do so that it can finally get onto Civcraft.
I am proud to welcome Roruke, the eternally misspelled to our moderator team, he will be starting out in mumble administration and working on from there. Jawa is likley to become the next terminal admin, so blame any explosions on him for a while.
Depending on if we can use our existing mods with sponge (some sort of compatibility layer) the re-development investment between Minetest and Sponge could be much smaller than we imagine, although still quite significant. hmm, I wonder if its worth trying to port the very basics (Citadel, PrisonPearl) to Minetest just to see how it works out, but we do need to figure out what to call it, because if we keep our current naming scheme a Minetest based Civcraft would be called Civtest....
The Moto 360 is really cool, unlimited digital features, itty bitty power budget.
