New Today On Civcraft
Chairs have been removed after a more detailed code review showed several problems with PrisonPearl and other game mechanics, some significant modifications will need to be made for those to work.
JukeAlert with lever control support is now online, but lever control is currently not enabled, please report any issues you have today, Triggering levers will enable themselves on restart tomorrow morning.
We have attempted to increase the wither skull drop rate to pre 1.7.10 levels, please report your rate of acquisition or the changes will be reversed tomorrow morning.
New Today on Civtest
I placed a new Burricos chest spawning command block near Civtest spawn, please us it to generate the chests you need to test burricos.
Updated Burricos, this new version should be significantly more resilient to server crashes in addition to being less reliant on Humbug, I would greatly appreciate it if people headed over there to test.
Bugs And Development Focus
After seeing how the bowbuff worked in testing its seems that we need to modify the buff so that it's buff scales down as you make your way from power5 all the way down to the lowest level some suggested scaling values are here.
In response to the buffing of bows projectile prot also needs to be buffed significantly, enough to be useful in a combat situation with archers as a major issue. This should hopefully help to diversify away from a single best configuration.
ttk2's thinking corner
Roruke was talking about cleaning up the bow buff a few days ago, but I have not seen anything since then, hopefully we can keep this moving.
I am proud to announce that Dr_Jawa will be joining he administration team as he steps back from playing in game.
It seems the consensus on the Nether is a 8:1 ratio, I will start generating the final Civcraft Nether soon, might conscript an admin or two to add some Easter eggs, still not sure on that one.
There needs to be some discussion and a rather big decision on if we want to commit to Sponge, Canary, or some other Minecraft modding API. Or if we want to try striking out and modding Minetest, I hear the dev team might not be super open to us dumping changes on them, but most of what we would have to do is improve the mod api when we ran into a problem.
