New Today On Civcraft

  • Rolled back Civchat after it crashed out for some reason

  • Updated RealsiticBiomes to sync the previous operating version and the github version as well as improve various regressions, please provide feedback on that as soon as possible.

  • Improved Garbage collection settings are staged for tomorrows restart, I thought I had fixed the GC lag issue (the thing that has been causing the mass disconnects during peak) but no one told me they where still occurring, its been a few versions since we last used the G1GC, which previous performed remarkably well with the notable exception of crashing about once a month, hopefully that's fixed now.


New Today on Civtest

  • Updated Civchat with fixes for today's issue.

  • Burrico's factory now online on Civtest, please check that out.


Bugs And Development Focus

  • Humbug bow buff needs some more work, after that it should be submitted to the civcraft repo and we can run with it.

  • Moved our prisonpearl/netherfactory issue here

  • Roruke posted the first dev changelog which brought up a lot of issues I had forgotten about or otherwise not remembered, hopefully we can make this a more regular occurrence, especially when discussing development.

  • Civdisease!!!!!!


ttk2's thinking corner

  • If we could get a our spigot jar patched to the latest release, plus some tinkering around with ProtocolLib we would hopefully be able to fix the remaining chunk loading problems and allow 1.8 clients to connect.

  • The NetherFactory ticket system was tested and seems to be working just fine, thank you fk_54 for testing it.

  • I still need to figure out what setting I am missing for generating the Nether, I put the Terrain control .jar into the plugins folder with the new nether config, but when I just run the server and use world border to generate the Nether we only get the default nether area.

  • It looks like there where some bugs in the PrisonPearl prevent freeing system not sure if they are fixable since it involved a total server lockup, but hopefully they can be mitigated somehow.
